For our Client, a company specializing in access solutions, we are looking for Linux Engineer.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits to the Zabierzówoffice, especially during the onboarding period.

What you would do as our Linux Engineer

As an Linux Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our Linux environments. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing Linux infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs and IT operations.

✔️ You would also:

  • Manage and optimize Linux environments, including user endpoints, servers, docker infrastructure, configuration control, patching, VPN's.
  • Ensure security and compliance, conducting risk assessments, assisting in audits, and maintaining security best practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance, including connectivity, remote management, conditional access, log aggregation strategies
  • Focus on cross platform integration with Microsoft enterprise solutions in particular EntraID, Intune and SSO/PKI infrastructure
  • Design solutions that ensure secure and robust connectivity to corporate resources and RND tools, utilising Cloudflare toolset
  • Collaborate and mentor, working with system engineers, cybersecurity teams, and junior engineers while engaging with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.

✔️ Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux environments management, including configuration control and firewall administration.
  • Strong understanding of common network services such as Cloudflare, DHCP, DNS, NTP, and SNMP.
  • Hands-on experience with Ubuntu and Red Hat distributions (upgrades, central management, configuration, security)
  • Experience with RND environments management and troubleshooting (including CI/CD environments)
  • Ability to monitor and diagnose systems performance issues
  • Fluency in English, nice to have: either Swedish or Polish
