Senior Java Developer – Financial Technology Solutions

This role offers an excellent platform for career growth amidst a dynamic, global team.Your main responsibilities:Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business users to understand project needs.Lead analysis, solution design, and planning activities within the engineering team.Implement and rigorously test software changes; participate in code reviews and assist in UAT and releases.Innovate by improving existing stacks and developing new functionalities in a fast-paced environment.Contribute to the development of event-driven and microservices architectures within distributed systems.Collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations.You're ideal for this role if you have:4 years of proven experience in Java development within financial or similarly complex domains.Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, DB2, Spring Boot, and RESTful API design.Experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, Kafka Streams, and Kafka Connect.Knowledge of MongoDB and Spring Data MongoDB.Familiarity with Docker, Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI).Solid understanding of event-driven/microservices architectures and distributed systems.Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong work ethic.It is a strong plus if you have:Experience with IBM MQ / JMS and infrastructure as code.Knowledge of financial messaging standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, CBPR , FIN.Python scripting and experience in financial services, payments, or banking technology.Language Required for the role:Communicative English proficiency.Eligibility for the role:Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.#MAKEYourCareerBETTERInterested?
