- Purchasing Governance and Performance Analyst
The Purchasing Governance and Performance Analyst takes accountability for owning and steering purchasing performance across the organization, ensuring that buying outcomes are financially disciplined, strategically aligned and value driven. Acting as the single source of truth for purchasing performance, the role establishes and governs the Open-to-Buy (OTB) framework, monitors purchase value vs. budget and drives inventory quality and efficiency. The Purchasing Governance and Performance Analyst also plays a pivotal role in sales and operations planning (S&OP) decision making, steering the organization toward value-based, insight-led investment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining, implementing and governing the OTB framework across regions and categories
- Providing clear visibility on total purchasing value (actual budget vs. forecast) as well as availability of OTB and consumption trajectory
- Acting as the control tower for purchasing investment choices, ensuring alignment with financial targets
- Establishing metrics and governance around quality of buys, including stock productivity and rotation, excess and obsolete (E&O) risk and alignment to demand and lifecycle -- ustalanie KPI, najprawdopodobniej będą dodatkowe KPI,
- Questioning and influencing purchasing decisions to optimize working capital and reduce waste
- Providing clear insights on "what we bought vs. what we should have bought"
- Owning executive-level reporting for purchase value evolution vs. historical baseline, budget adherence and variance drivers and ROI on purchasing choices
- Translating data into clear business actions and trade-offs for S&OP and supply planning forums
- Acting as a trusted partner to finance and supply chain management on purchasing performance, ensuring investment governance in line with delegation of authority
- Managing initiatives to shift from reactive purchasing to strategy-led buying, embed financial discipline into planning processes and improve data transparency
- Supporting integration with advanced planning and scheduling (APS)/enterprise resource planning (ERP)/analytics software and platforms such as Incorta to drive scalable governance.
Skills and Experience needed
- 2--3 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, demand planning, or a similar role focused on process analysis and optimization Strong evaluative skills and ability to interpret complex datasets
- Good understanding of supply planning, replenishment logic and network structures
- Knowledge of S&OP processes
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and able to present effectively
- Willingness to learn new tools such as Incorta
- Effective communication skills and the ability to clearly define problem statements
- Ability to drive cross-functional, data-led initiatives
- Capable of working with a high level of ownership and self motivation
- Written and spoken English at minimum B2 level.
