Opis stanowiska

Senior Software Engineer --- Platform Core / AI (.NET / JS / SQL)Location: Remote (EU time zones) or Poland • Type: Full-timeAbout LYNQLYNQ builds modern manufacturing software that helps factories plan, track, automate, analyse and optimise their operations. Our MES/APS platform is used by manufacturers globally, integrates with leading ERPs, and is deployable in the cloud or on-premises. We host on Microsoft Azure to provide secure, reliable access for our customers. The roleWe're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to evolve the core of our SaaS MES platform and to help build its next generation of AI-assisted capabilities. You'll work across core backend modules and services --- runtime, ETL, and our emerging AI integration layer --- shaping secure, scalable services that run smoothly in production and bringing large language models (such as Anthropic's Claude) into real manufacturing workflows. This is a hands-on role at the full complexity level of our product: multi-tenant SaaS with hybrid on-premises deployments, deep ERP integrations, real-time scheduling, and now AI orchestration on top of all of it.What you'll doCore platform: enhance runtime services, configuration, caching, telemetry, and resilient background processing across a multi-tenant architecture.AI development: design and build our LLM orchestration and integration layer --- a central AI gateway with pluggable provider connectors, prompt template management, structured outputs, tool/function calling, and full audit logging. Ship AI-assisted product features (assistants, analysis, comparison, and scheduling/sequencing support) grounded in live MES data.AI safety & governance: implement guardrails for AI features operating on customer production data --- tenant isolation, data minimisation, output validation, cost/usage controls, and observability of model behaviour.Data integrations (ETL): design integration patterns and pipelines (ingest, validate, map, reconcile; incremental syncs, retries, monitoring) between the MES and enterprise systems.Quality & performance: write clear, testable code; profile and tune services and queries that operate at production scale. What you bringSenior-level expertise with .NET, backed by 8 years of professional experience.Strong C# / ASP.NET Core skills building production web solutions.Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production software: working with provider APIs (Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar), prompt engineering, structured/JSON outputs, tool use, streaming, and token/cost management.Understanding of LLM orchestration patterns --- routing across providers, retries and fallbacks, context construction, retrieval/grounding over application data, and evaluation of output quality.Solid JavaScript experience.Deep MS SQL Server knowledge (T-SQL, indexing, query tuning).Experience with background jobs and resilient integrations (idempotency, retries, poison-message handling).Security mindset (tokens/claims, roles/permissions, multi-tenancy) --- including the data-handling implications of sending enterprise data to AI services.Clear communication, ownership, and a pragmatic approach to shipping.Nice to haveExperience building agentic or multi-step AI workflows (function calling, MCP, RAG pipelines, vector search).Familiarity with AI observability and evaluation tooling (tracing, prompt versioning, regression testing of model outputs).ERP/enterprise integrations (REST/OData/GraphQL); manufacturing domain familiarity.Experience operating SaaS plus occasional on-premises deployments.Familiarity with the MES space and connectors to leading ERPs.Why LYNQModern platform with clear product focus and genuine room to influence architecture --- including greenfield AI capabilities being built right now.Work on AI that does something real: assisting planners, operators and analysts inside live factory operations, not a demo.Remote-friendly team, flexible hours, supportive engineering culture.
