Senior Architect (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join our team and contribute to building migration strategies and translating them into scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures. You will engage in a big, insurance project and hands-on implementation of designed architectures and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver modern IT solutions. This role offers a hybrid work mode from Warsaw. If you are passionate about shaping technology strategies and driving architectural excellence, this opportunity may be the right fit for you.Your tasksCo-creating and programming changes in the property insurance systemDeveloping migration strategies from monolithic solutions to microservices architecture based on private cloudManaging technical debt and incorporating it into work planningCollaborating on the direction and vision for modern IT solutionsProviding insights and guidance to development teams to maintain a consistent direction in delivering business valueSupporting teams with consulting in creating solutionsAssisting in the development of feasibility analyses and implementation assumptions for IT system developmentSupporting the design and documentation of system architecturesAcquiring and implementing new technologiesParticipating in the development of standards and supporting compliance with established standardsAssisting in initiatives to improve the development process and foster a DevOps cultureRequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in system architecture design and oversightVery good knowledge of Java and SpringAbility to create scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed architecturesStrong understanding of architectural patterns and integration practicesExperience working with cloud and infrastructure automationAbility to conduct code reviews, mentor, and lead architectural workshopsCo-creating technology roadmaps and assessing risksExperience in end-to-end observabilityPractical knowledge of API governance and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)Experience with Event-Driven ArchitectureAdvanced level of English and PolishOpenness to work hybridly in Warsaw (at least once a week from the office)Nice-to-have requirementsPrevious work with Agentic SDLCExperience in multi-cloud strategiesAdvanced practical knowledge of DDDAwareness of cloud costsParticipation in defining technology standards within the organization
