Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a leading multinational company in the building materials industry.
You'll join the implementation of an enterprise web application for a global manufacturing customer. The project involves replacing and modernizing an existing business application used across multiple countries. The Business Analyst will work closely with customer stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and the Project Manager to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong stakeholder communication skills, experience with enterprise software implementations, and the ability to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements for the development team.

Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Proven experience working on enterprise software implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation.
- Expertise in preparing functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and process documentation.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Advanced English.
- German is highly preferred.
- Availability for business trips to Basel, Switzerland, during key project phases (Kick-off, end of Concept Phase, and Go-Live readiness review).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to understand business objectives and processes.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions with business users.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, UX Designers, Developers, QA Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure a common understanding of requirements.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritization activities.
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing by preparing test scenarios, validating business outcomes, and coordinating business users.
- Support change request analysis and impact assessment.
